Village Church Burbank MOPS is a group of mothers that join together twice a month to share in our experiences as we strive to survive this roller coaster ride called Motherhood. If you are looking to meet a great group of women that will listen, inspire, and grow with you then we would love for you to join us too!
At Village Church Burbank MOPS you will get:
Teaching - Speakers from the community and our local assembly will share information relevant to the life of a mother. Topics celebrate motherhood and meet a moms unique needs during this season of her life.
Discussion Groups - The intimate and accepting atmosphere of a small group offers moms a chance to share their successes, questions, and concerns. It is during these times that a mom realizes that she is not alone, and lifelong friendships are formed.
Creative Activities - Moms will be given the opportunity to express themselves creatively during MOPS meetings. Through craft projects women are encouraged to experience the sense of accomplishment that comes with trying and finishing new things.
Moppets - During MOPS meetings, children are cared for in a parallel program called MOPPETS, where they experience love from our well trained staff. We use a hands-on Bible curriculum, which includes stories, songs, and hands-on activities.
Opportunity to Grow - Not only are MOPS groups specifically for mothers of preschoolers, meetings are organized and run by mothers of preschoolers, who gain confidence in their leadership skills through training and experience they receive through this ministry. These women often move into other areas of leadership in their church or community after graduating from MOPS.
MOPS International - MOPS International is a recognized and respected international ministry that provides access to resources, experience, and training focused specifically on identifying the needs of and ministering to mothers of preschoolers. The MOPS Chapter at Village Church Burbank is a part of MOPS International. The purpose of MOPS International is to nurture every mother of preschoolers by meeting her distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ.

To reach out with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to bring glory to God in everything.
MOPS agrees on the basic, orthodox truths of the Christian faith and the essential issues
of salvation. We (MOPS International, Village Church, and the Leadership Team) believe
the Bible is the foundation of these truths. We are committed to telling the truth of
saving work of Jesus Christ, of God's grace to mankind, of the reality of the Trinity,
and the role of the Church in God's plan for the world.
